On 20 May at 7pm, the Wollondilly Women in Business Network is hosting its monthly networking event and they have an incredible speaker lined up - the inspiring and successful Megan Gilmour, CEO of MissingSchool Incorporated.

Megan Gilmour , a social innovator with experience across government, publishing, global aid and development and companies engaged in large-scale social change. She’s a Churchill Fellow (with studies in six countries), a keynote and TEDx Speaker, and an education ambassador for sick kids. Nominated as a finalist for the ACT Australian of the Year award in 2018, ACT winner and national finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards in the For Purpose and Social Enterprise category, she has co-founded a nationally transformative not-for-profit – Missing School, and tech startups in the global development and the assistive robotics sector. In 2019 Megan was named one of The Australian Financial Review 100 Women of Influence for 2019.

WWIB would like to ask that as a thank you to Megan, and also as the network is not charging for events that those attending (and even those who aren’t) donate to MissingSchool. MissingSchool is so important to keeping seriously sick kids connected virtually to their classrooms so they don’t miss out on an education.
